While capital gain might not be as much as what one can get in other countries, the potential losses that one face will be lesser too.sgyounginvestorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02036598665471392859noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8488305785096287326.post-7728940357195961192012-01-28T10:31:29.544+08:002012-01-28T10:31:29.544+08:00Hi,

Hence you would have to incur slight brokerage charges when using dividends to buy more stocks. The upside is that capital gains in Singapore is almost to the bare bones.Singapore Stock Pickerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04926088915588570509noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8488305785096287326.post-64569105894494436422012-01-26T05:28:06.676+08:002012-01-26T05:28:06.676+08:00Great post, really spot on. Just from your post, consider that there is a 48,000 difference just between starting at 20 versus 25, its amazing what compounding can do.farmland investinghttp://www.greenworldbvi.com/alternative-investments-options/agricultural-farmland/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8488305785096287326.post-7300925307697770332012-01-25T15:12:31.239+08:002012-01-25T15:12:31.239+08:00I agree with you on this. but i doubt anyone will ...I agree with you on this. but i doubt anyone will want to risk his retirement nest at 65. and I never believe that anyone can start earning returns in the long run without paying some lesson fees. For me, out of my first 10 trades, 9 were losing money. I was speculating about the quarterly profits, listening to rumours, following others blindly and cut losses after I was wrong in almost every single case. But then if I never cut loss and pump my money into another stock, I will not have lost that much(10%) at the start.

But I am no longer trading now and have exercised much more discipline since joining Value Buddies, managing to reverse most of my losses now.sgyounginvestorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02036598665471392859noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8488305785096287326.post-47312160469546896972012-01-25T14:42:45.114+08:002012-01-25T14:42:45.114+08:00Too many moving parts.
